[Also in Division A2] Foodstuff, e.g. fish or meat, in the form of a paste is moulded into a shape, e.g. a fish, bowtie or wreath, by forcing the food from a hopper 24 into mould recesses 21 in a P.V.C. plate 26, scraping excess food from the plate with the front edge 33 of the hopper, and then freezing the moulded foodstuff. The frozen pieces are then fried and refrozen.
