[Also in Division A4] In a U hair pin 10 bent up from a single strip of resilient material, the leg 12 is longer than the leg 13 to form a toe 18 for insertion under a strand of hair and a handle 20 is provided on a third leg 21, bent back along the leg 13, by which the leg 13 is pulled away from the leg 12 to open the pin to receive the strand. In modifications the loop handle 20 is replaced by an upstanding tab or a rubber pad, and any of the legs may be corrugated.
