In a Peltier effect device comprising semiconductors 1 alternating with conductors 3 to which are attached heat-dissipating elements such as the tapering fins 5, the surfaces 11 of contact between each conductor 3 and its adjacent semi-conductor converge from one side of the device toward the other, where they meet or almost meet.
