Abstract

1,019,002. Castors. BRITISH CASTORS Ltd. Dec. 16, 1963 [Dec. 15, 1962], No. 47395/62. Addition to 1,019,001. Heading A4U. In a modification of the castor of the parent Specification a tapering shank 28 is surrounded by a split sleeve 30 having a nut member 33 held against rotation in a recess 34 and a screw-threaded portion 29 of shank 28 engages the nut so that as the shank is rotated its tapered part causes expansion of the sleeve to grip the bore in which it is inserted.
