[Also in Division G1] A timepiece dial, having signs engraved thereon by a chemical or electro-chemical treatment of the dial surface, is characterized in that the dial consists of a plate of stainless steel, the surface of which has been finished by polishing or fine grinding. The signs form shallow grooves of contrasting appearance which may be left without further treatment, or they may be coloured.
