Abstract

1,013,817. Toothed gearing. A. WINDMOLLER, and M. GENNERICH, [trading as WINDMOLLER & HOLSCHER]. Dec. 11, 1962 [Jan. 2, 1962], No. 46721/62. Heading F2Q. The phase between a gear 6 on a drive shaft 2 and a gear 9 on a shaft 1 to which a tool carrier roll is fastened, e.g. on a sack-making machine, is adjusted during running by swinging intermeshing gears 7 and 8, supported on swing links 10, 16, 17, about the gears 6 and 9 by means of a pivotally anchored screw 26 engaging a nut 25 on the long arm 24 of a lever 15 of which the link 16 is a part. If the shaft 1 is axially movable, the pivot 21 of the link 17 is supported coaxial with the shaft 1 on a bracket fixed to the machine frame (Fig. 4, not shown).
