1,013,331. Tea &c. cosies. T. FIELDING. July 8, 1964, No. 28103/64. Heading A4A. [Also in Division F4] A heat insulating jacket for a workmen's tea jug comprises a bag 1 formed of a layer 3 of expanded polyurethane with inner and outer layers 2, 4 of polyvinyl chloride, an opening for insertion or removal of the jug being closed by a sliding clasp fastener 5, the tapes of which are impregnated with polyvinyl chloride and welded to the edges of the opening. Fasteners 6, 6a allow the part 7 of the bag to be opened for removal of the lid only. Slots 8, 11 and holes 10 are provided for protrusion of the handles of the jug and lid and carrying handle. In modifications the closable opening is closed by ties, press studs &c., or the closable opening for removal of the lid extends completely round the circumference.
