Abstract
968,422. Handbag handles. H. S. T. STREET. June 25, 1962 [July 13, 1961], No. 25404/61. Heading A4G. A handle for a handbag or the like comprises a rigid core, e.g. aluminium bar, covered by a sheath 11 of leather, synthetic plastic or like material, metal thimbles 14 at each end of the handle and D-rings passing through aligned holes in the thimbles and the ends of the rigid core. The sheath 11 may be formed on the rigid core by stitching the edges of a strip of material together as at 12.
