Abstract

A rotary sweeping brush is made up of zig-zag brush rings 2, 3, 4 each formed from two annular pressings 5 and 6 spotwelded together. Spacing tabs 18, 19 are bent out from the bases of bristle tuft sockets 7. Cylinder 1 is formed with fine brush driving ribs 21 engaged notches 20 in the rings. The tufts 12, which may be twisted, are formed from wire and are supported substantially as in Specification 814,113.
