Abstract

The invention comprises compounds of general formula <FORM:1012314/C2/1> wherein R1, R2 and R3 are hydrogen or methyl, R4 and R5 are alkyl (1-4 C) or R4 and R5 together signify an alkylene radical of 4 or 5 carbon atoms which may have interposed a nitrogen atom substituted by alkyl (1-4 C) or an oxygen atom, with the proviso that when R5 is alkyl R4 together with R1, R2 or R3 may signify a straight chain alkylene radical of 2-4 carbon atoms, and R6 is hydrogen, chlorine, alkoxy (1-4 C) or alkylmercapto (1-4 C); their acid addition salts; and their preparation by reacting a 4-keto-6-R6-thienobenzothiapyran with a compound. Hal-Mg-CHR1-CHR2-CHR3-NR4R5 (where Hal is chlorine, bromine or iodine) in an organic solvent medium, and hydrolysing. Specifications 1,012,313 and 1,012,314 are referred to.
