A flexible collar with a variable diameter for connecting pipes concentrically consists of a curvilinear straddling member 2 with a roller 3 at each end upon which a flexible metal strip 1 slides to form a clamp, the strip being fixed at its ends to opposite ends of a stud 5 fitted with a central transverse screw 6 with its lower end connected to the curvilinear straddling member so that upon rotation the distance between the stud and the straddling member is varied and thus the diameter of the clamp. The stand 2 straddling member has sloping guide plates to give direction to the flexible strap so that it encircles the pipes almost entirely.
