Locking nuts.-The nut 20 is locked by a square plunger 22 which slides in a square recess in the nut and is urged by a spring to engage one of a set of radial notches in the end of the sleeve 2 on to which the nut is screwed. A head 31 is fitted on the plunger by means of which it may be withdrawn.
