A U-shaped frame for occupying the space between a fireplace surround and a convector heater placed in the fireplace has louvres a masking the space above the heater, which louvres are of adjustable spacing to allow for use of the frame with different sizes of fireplace. The louvres are pivoted to bars b which in turn are pivoted to the top d of the frame. A lug e on the bottom louvre is engaged by a screw 7 on the heater to fix the louvres in the desired position. The frame side members g at the side of the heater may have telescopic extensions at their lower ends to allow for further accommodation of different sizes of fireplace and heater. The opening masked by the louvres may serve as an outlet for hot air from the heater.
