A roof support and turnover guard for a tractor comprises an inverted U-shaped member 1 having its limbs connected to the rear axle tube 3, struts 7 secured at 8 to the tractor and angular struts 4, 5. A cross-member carrying the roof 11 connects the side limbs 4 and is slidable thereon. The rear ends of the limbs '4 are connected by tie rods to the centre of the base 2 of the U-member 1.
