Abstract

Air ducts formed by the side sills 21, windscreen pillars, and connecting hoses 19 communicate with passages formed between the bonnet and bonnet stiffeners and with a bonnet aperture 11 placed in a low pressure area so that when the vehicle is in motion air is extracted from the passenger compartment. The ducts 19 may terminate in a flap valve to prevent reverse air flow.
