In a bearing for a timepiece having a support 1, Fig. 2, in which are mounted a throughstone 2 and an end-stone 4, the latter is retained in an eccentric groove 3 of the support 1 by a bezel 5 which is received by a concentric groove 6 of the support. The end-stone 4 is fitted into an eccentric bore of the bezel 5, which has notches 7 therein for engagement by a tool whereby the assembly is moved angularly to wedge the end-stone 4 against the wall of the groove 3 and to engage a peripheral face 9 of the bezel 5 against the wall of the groove 6. The periphery 9 of the bezel 5 and the wall of the groove 6 are of frusto-conical shape to prevent axial movement due to end-thrust. In a further embodiment, a groove 10, Fig. 4, in the support 1 is concentric, a groove 11 is eccentric and the bore of the bezel is concentric. In another embodiment, a groove 3, Fig. 6, is eccentric, a groove 16 is concentric; the bore of a bezel 12 may be eccentric or concentric; the bezel is stepped at 12a and 12b the, latter being eccentric and received by the groove 3 and the former being concentric and received by the groove 16. In a further embodiment, the end-stone 4, Fig. 8, is fitted in a cap-shaped bezel 14 having a tool slot 14a therein. In another embodiment, the bezel 15, Fig. 9, is stepped at 15a, 15b, the former of which is received by a concentric groove 16 of the support 1 and the latter is received in an eccentric groove 3. The end-stone 4 is received in a bore 17 of the bezel 15, the bore 17 being eccentric to the periphery 15a and concentric to the periphery 15b. The walls of grooves 3, 16 and the peripheries 15a, 15b are of frustoconical shape.
