Abstract

100,669. Turrill, H. Jan. 7, 1916. Pins, dress and like. - Two wires are twisted together at 1 to form two prongs 2, which may be waved, and a spring portion 3 having projections 4, 5 and ornamental terminations 7. In use, the spring ends are pressed together, and the pin and a part of the spring portion passed through a leather or cloth loop 9 sewn to the inside of the hat 10. The pin is curved so as to pass over the head into the hair, and the straight part of the spring engages the loop to hold the device securely. More than one pin may be used.
