Abstract
1,006,676. Devices for actuating Bowden cables. MAX KAMMERER KABEIZUG - WERK G.m.b.H. June 14, 1962 [June 15, 1961], No. 22812/62. Heading B7E. A Bowden wire 6, Fig. 1, attached to a shoe 8 may be pulled by rotating a lever 3 about its pivot 2, the shoe being guided within an arcuate groove 9 in a body or bracket 1, and the wire 6 being retained laterally to prevent buckling by a recess 10 in the body and by the side of the lover 3. In a modification, Fig. 5, the wires are operated by rotating transparent plastic discs 15 which may be suitably marked to indicate position and may be illuminated by lights arranged either within the pivots 17 or externally of the discs.
