Paving tramways; wheel tracks.-Consists in providing reinforced-concrete paving blocks for tramways or railways which are shaped to fit closely against the rail and are provided with recesses d for the fish-plates e and bolts e<1> and with grooves f for the cross ties g. The recesses d are filled with a greasy substance to prevent rusting of the bolts. The reinforcements are shaped as shown at b<1>, c<1>, and the blocks are preferably roughened or fluted on the upper face and form wheel tracks. The reinforcements are interrupted at the grooves f.
