Abstract
1,005,522. Knitting-machines. RUND-UND FLACHSTRICKMASCHINENBAU KARL-MARXSTADT VE B. July 24,1964, No. 29764/64. Heading D1C. A needle selecting arrangement for a circular machine comprises a slider 3 positioned beneath each needle and a selector member 4 positioned in front of each slider. The member 4 is capable of being pivoted by slectors 18 engaging bolts 17, 17a to cause it to engage and tilt its corresponding slider into a position such that the slider's upper end is disposed beneath and engages the lower end of the needle when it is raised by a butt 8 at its lower end engaging a cam 9. If the slider is not pivoted by the selector its upper end is raised in front of the needle stem. Butts 10 are provided on the lower end of the sliders for cancelling the selection made.
