Abstract
1,003,991. Coils for dynamo-electric machines. LABORDE & KUPFER S.A. May 31, 1963 [Oct. 30, 1962], No. 22030/63. Heading H2A. [Also in Division B3] A method of producing stator windings for synchronous electric machines comprises winding a skein 5 of wires 6, e.g. of insulated copper, about a pair of pins 3 secured to a rotating plate 2, the number of revolutions thereof being equal to the number of wires required in each layer of the winding, cutting the skein transversely into two equal half skeins which are simultaneously fed through a press and Roebel transposed to form a substantially hair-pin-shaped loop 7 which is finally reshaped in a modified wireforming bench into a loop, Fig. 7.
