A connector for printed circuit boards comprises an elongated block of fibrereinforced plastics insulation 10 with peripheral channels 21 which each receive a spring contact element 11 or 12, having inturned ends to engage respectively in recess 41 or recesses 47 and 41 at the bottom of the channel 21, and contact portions 43 and 44, or 52, protruding therefrom. The recesses are proportioned to allow lateral movement of the ends of the contact spring on depression of the contact portions by the circuit board. The spring elements are preferably goldplated. The block 10 can be used with springs 11 (Fig. 2) to interconnect two parallel circuit boards fastened to sides 17, 19 by screws running in threaded holes 23, or with springs 12 (Fig. 6) to interconnect two boards at right angles as shown. In an assembly of connector blocks 15 of a similar but narrower form (Fig. 8), the latter are held, together with spacers 39, between end-plates 38 on a base 37 by through bolts 29, which also hold in position between the blocks 15 parallel circuit boards 31, 33, 34.
