Framework 3, 4, 5 supporting hood 1 and windscreen 2 is connected by links 6 to cranked support arms 7 pivoted at 8, 9 to brackets 11 on the tractor axle housing. The cranked parts of arms 7 or frame part 5 rest on rubber bushes and springs 16 help in pivoting the hood and windscreen unit to the dotted line position in which the unit is held by a spring-loaded catch 17 on one mudguard 13.
