Abstract

L’invention porte sur une menuiserie coupe-feu et pare flammes (1) comportant un cadre pourvu de deux montants latéraux, d’un supérieur et d’un inférieur ; deux battants (11a, 11b) montés chacun mobiles en rotation sur l’un des montants latéraux entre une position ouverte et une position fermée, chaque battant (11a, 11b) étant plaqué contre le cadre dans sa position fermée et une portion d’un premier battant (11a) venant en recouvrement d’une portion d’un deuxième battant (11b) lorsque les battants (11a, 11b) sont en position fermée ; un système de fermeture à espagnolette comportant une tige (120) montée mobile en rotation sur ladite portion du premier battant (11a), la tige (120) comportant deux organes d’accroche (121) prévus chacun à l’une des extrémités de la tige (120) ; deux cavités d’accroche (100), l’une prévue sur le montant supérieur du cadre et l’autre prévue sur le montant inférieur du cadre, chacune des cavités (100) comportant un organe d’accroche complémentaire (100.1) adapté pour coopérer avec l’un des deux organes d’accroche (121) dudit système de fermeture dans une position fermée des deux dits battant (11) ; caractérisé en ce que la portion d’au moins l’un des battants (11) comporte un joint intumescent (116) venant en vis-à-vis de la portion de l’autre battant lorsque les battants (11) sont en position fermée.
