Abstract

Un navire comprend une unité de propulsion vélique (100) allongée dans une direction verticale en position d’utilisation et comprenant des éléments propulsifs (111, 112) et un mât (121). Il est prévu selon l’invention, un dispositif de basculement comprenant une embase (210) solidaire d’une région proximale du mât (121) d’une unité et tournant autour d’un axe principal (A) horizontal sur un support (220) fixé sur un pont du navire, un dispositif (216, 217) de commande de basculement provoquant une rotation de l’embase par rapport au support et comprenant un premier actionneur (217) apte à générer un effort linéaire dans une direction horizontale et un élément de renvoi (216) reliant ledit actionneur à l’embase (210) pour opérer sur l’embase un effort en une première région (218) située à distance dudit axe principal, et un dispositif (300) de verrouillage de l’embase (210) sur l’élément support (220) comprenant un deuxième actionneur (310) apte à exercer, en une deuxième région (215) de l’embase (218), un effort de retenue en direction verticale. L’unité de propulsion vélique (100) peut être déplacée grâce au(x) premier(s) actionneur(s) (217) entre une position inactive où elle s’étend le long du pont du navire et une position érigée, le dispositif de verrouillage (300) étant apte à contribuer au maintien de l’unité dans sa position active.
