- ledit sac gonflable de support comprend une pièce de tissu centrale annulaire sur les bords périphériques de laquelle sont rapportées par couture deux pièces de tissu latérales de sorte à présenter, dans sa configuration déployée, une section transversale sensiblement constante sur l’ensemble de sa largeur ;
- ledit sac gonflable de support est conformé de sorte à venir, dans sa configuration déployée, prendre appui contre le pare-brise dudit véhicule ;
- ledit coussin gonflable comporte également un organe de guidage monté fixement à l’intérieur dudit boîtier au niveau de son coin supérieur arrière et formant une rampe s’étendant en biais entre les première et seconde ouvertures de sorties de sorte à guider le déploiement desdits sacs gonflables hors de ce boîtier ;
- ledit organe de guidage est réalisé dans un matériau composite ou dans une mousse de polypropylène présentant une densité supérieure ou égale à 60 kg/m3; et/ou
- ledit sac gonflable de sécurité et ledit sac gonflable de support sont dotés chacun d’au moins un orifice de gonflage respectif relié fluidiquement à la sortie dudit générateur de gaz par une conduite correspondante.
L’invention vise également sous un second aspect un volant de direction pour véhicule automobile comportant une jante de préhension et d’entrainement ainsi qu’un moyeu creux solidaire de ladite jante, caractérisé en ce qu’il comporte également un tel coussin gonflable de sécurité logé dans ledit moyeu.According to preferred characteristics of said airbag according to the invention:
