Essuie-glace caréné (100) comprenant un carénage longitudinal caréné comprenant un montage central (105) et au moins un capot d'extrémité (110), au moins un élément adaptateur (200) fixé au montage central (105) et comprenant une âme centrale (205) et deux pattes (210) s'étendant sensiblement perpendiculairement à partir de bords opposés de ladite âme centrale (205), l'un desdits au moins un capot d'extrémité (105) étant articulé audit élément adaptateur (200), et un moyen de rétention (240) comprenant au moins une nervure (250) s'étendant depuis une surface inférieure (215) du montage central et orientée sensiblement perpendiculairement à l'âme centrale (205) de l'élément adaptateur (200), et une fenêtre (245) prévue dans l'âme centrale (205) de l'élément adaptateur (200), la fenêtre (245) étant engagée par la au moins une nervure (250) Figure pour l'abrégé : Figure 2
