Le coulissement du pied de support est effectué manuellement par un passager avant, ce qui nécessite qu’il exerce sur ce pied de support des forces qui peuvent déformer progressivement la partie inférieure du support en lui donnant un jeu de plus en plus important par rapport au rail qui induit des bruits et son déplacement en présence de vibrations et de chocs.
