Procédé de fabrication d’une pièce structurelle à partir d’une préforme présentant un chauffage amélioré de la préforme et outil de formage associé Le procédé de fabrication d’une pièce structurelle à partir d’une préforme comprend les étapes de : - disposition de la préforme dans une cavité de formage (28) d’un outil de formage (10) opérable entre une position ouverte et une position fermée ; - passage de l’outil de formage (10) en position fermée ; - chauffage de la préforme dans la cavité de formage (28) en position fermée. L’étape de chauffage comprend le préchauffage d’un volume de gaz dans une cavité de préchauffe (62) par une première pièce de chauffe (16) de l’outil de formage (10), la cavité de préchauffe (62) étant séparée de la cavité de formage (28), puis l’injection du volume de gaz chaud depuis la cavité de préchauffe (62) dans la cavité de formage (28).
