Abstract
The invention relates to a deanodizing solution for deanodizing an aluminum or aluminum alloy part, or a part thereof, the deanodizing solution being an aqueous solution comprising: a fluoride complexing agent capable of form a complex with the oxidized aluminum; and a phosphate passivating etchant capable of forming a precipitate with metallic aluminum. The molar ratio between the phosphate passivating attack agent and the fluoride complexing agent is greater than 5, preferably between 5 and 20, even more preferably between 5 and 10. The invention also relates to a process for deanodization using this solution.
