Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif comportant : (i) un récipient 1 définissant un espace intérieur 7 contenant des larves 5, notamment de l’espèce Hermetia illucens, et débouchant par une ouverture 17,(ii) un substrat 4 pour nourrir les larves 5, le substrat 4 étant humide et recouvrant au moins partiellement le fond du récipient 1,(iii) un revêtement barrière 6 poreux à l’air recouvrant au moins partiellement le substrat 4, et(iv) un couvercle 8 distant du revêtement barrière 6, monté amovible sur le récipient 1, et obturant l’ouverture 17, le couvercle 8 étant poreux à l’air et hermétique aux larves 5 ;l’espace intérieur 7 contenant de 2000 à 6000 larves 5 par gramme de substrat 4,le substrat 4 étant disposé entre le fond de l’espace intérieur 7 et le revêtement barrière 6,au moins une partie des larves 5 étant logée entre le revêtement barrière 6 et le fond du récipient, notamment dans le substrat 4. L’invention concerne également un procédé de préparation d’un tel dispositif.
