Abstract
TITRE : Procédé pour caractériser des particules biologiques sous forme d’aérosol par spectrométrie de plasma induit par laser et système associé. L’invention concerne un procédé pour caractériser des particules biologiques sous forme d’aérosol, à savoir en suspension dans un gaz ambiant, par spectrométrie de plasma induit par laser et un système associé. Le procédé comprend les étapes suivantes : a) prélever du gaz ambiant, lequel comporte les particules biologiques que l’on cherche à caractériser ; b) générer un jet desdites particules (JAB) dans une chambre (CH) sous vide ; c) émettre un faisceau laser (FL) sous la forme d’impulsions et focaliser ledit faisceau laser dans ladite chambre (CH) sous vide, transversalement à une direction de propagation du jet de particules (JP), pour créer, dans un volume focal (VF), un plasma par l'interaction entre le faisceau laser (FL) et au plus une particule (NP) individuelle du jet, ledit plasma émettant d'autres particules, caractéristiques de l'interaction entre le faisceau laser et ladite particule individuelle du jet ; d) collecter lesdites particules émises par le plasma; et e) effectuer une analyse spectrométrique de ces particules pour finalement caractériser lesdites particules biologiques.
