Véhicule automobile hybride équipé d’un moteur thermique à essence, d’un train arrière comprenant de chaque côté un bras de suspension (4) portant une roue arrière, d’une batterie de traction (16) disposée entre les deux bras de suspension (4), et équipé d’un boîtier de récupération de vapeurs d’essence (18) disposé dans la direction transversale entre une roue arrière particulière (8) et une face latérale de la caisse du véhicule, ce véhicule comportant une cale résistante (30) disposée entre la roue particulière (8) et la face latérale de caisse, qui en cas de choc transversal extérieur sur la roue particulière (8) prend appui sur la face latérale de caisse pour recevoir l’appui de cette roue particulière (8) en absorbant une énergie par sa déformation.
