Abstract

La présente invention fournit un procédé d'estimation et un système de surveillance d'une concentration de plutonium dans un système d'uranium et de plutonium en solution sur la base du comptage des coïncidences neutroniques. En effectuant des corrections de l'effet d'absorption de la multiplication des neutrons, de la différence de spectre entre des neutrons sources (α, n) et des neutrons sources de fission spontanée, et de la différence de rendement de détection entre des neutrons sources de fission induite et des neutrons sources de fission spontanée, sur un système d'équations d'un modèle ponctuel, les résultats calculés du comptage des coïncidences neutroniques par un système d'équations d'un modèle ponctuel amélioré permettent de représenter avec précision un résultat de mesure du comptage des coïncidences neutroniques d'un système de détection de neutrons à l'extérieur du système d'uranium et de plutonium en solution, estimant ainsi avec précision la concentration de plutonium dans le système d'uranium et de plutonium en solution.
