Un aspect de l’invention concerne un procédé (100) de régulation de la température d’un élément de dépollution d’une ligne d’échappement d’un véhicule, ledit au moins un élément de dépollution nécessitant une température minimale pour son fonctionnement, ledit procédé (100) comportant une étape (101) de limiter un couple moteur disponible d’un moteur de véhicule lorsque la température dudit élément de dépollution est inférieure à une température de fonctionnement dudit élément de dépollution.
