Abstract

Dispositif et procédé de conversion de composés aromatiques, comprenant/utilisant : une unité de séparation des xylènes (10) ; une unité d’isomérisation (11) ; une première section réactionnelle d’alkylation (13) adaptée pour traiter au moins une partie de la coupe comprenant du toluène (23) avec une source de CO (30) et extraire un premier effluent d’alkylation (31) comprenant du paratolualdéhyde ; et une deuxième section réactionnelle d’alkylation (15) adaptée pour traiter au moins une partie de la coupe comprenant du benzène (22) avec une source d’éthanol (36) et produire un deuxième effluent d’alkylation (37) comprenant de l’éthylbenzène envoyé vers l’unité d’isomérisation (11).
