processo para a conversão do composto nitro aromático em aminas. um processo para hidrogenar um composto nitro aromático de acordo com a invenção compreende: - prover uma corrente gasosa de hidrogênio e uma corrente de composto nitro aromático líquido; - prover um reator catalítico de leito fixo tendo um lado de fluxo de entrada e um lado de fluxo de saída; - alimentar ao lado de fluxo de entrada, a corrente gasosa de hidrogênio e a corrente de composto nitro aromático líquido; - converter o gás de hidrogênio e o composto nitro aromático em uma amina aromática, por esse meio provendo um efluente de reator compreendendo a amina aromática e água; evacuar o efluente de reator do reator no lado de fluxo de saída do reator; em que um solvente inerte ou água são alimentados ao lado de fluxo de entrada do reator em que uma relação molar de moles de solventes inerte ou água para moles de hidrogênio seja de mais do que 1.
