Abstract

La présente invention concerne un dispositif d’application d’effort pour un manche de pilotage d’un aéronef comprenant un arbre et un levier de commande configuré pour entraîner en rotation l’arbre autour d’un premier axe, le dispositif comprenant :- un frein magnétique comportant une pièce de freinage reliée à l’arbre, et un volume contenant un fluide rhéologique en contact avec la pièce de freinage, de résistance au cisaillement variable en fonction d’un champ magnétique appliqué au fluide rhéologique,- un moteur de retour d’effort configuré pour exercer un effort résistif s’opposant à la rotation de l’arbre autour du premier axe, - une source de courant du moteur de retour d’effort,- un élément magnétique mobile sollicité vers une position rapprochée du frein magnétique,- des moyens d’éloignement configurés pour maintenir l’élément magnétique mobile en position éloignée du frein magnétique, quand ces moyens d’éloignement sont alimentés par la source de courant.
