Abstract
La présente invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif de de surveillance du fonctionnement de ports d’un commutateur d’un réseau de communication comprenant une pluralité de commutateurs, chaque commutateur comportant au moins un premier et un second ports, le premier port (P1) de chaque commutateur étant relié à un second port (P2) d’un autre commutateur, chaque commutateur émettant et recevant des données par l’intermédiaire des premier et second ports. Selon l’invention : - le commutateur dit premier commutateur (S1) génère une première trame (T1) de surveillance comportant une information indiquant si les trames émises par un second commutateur (S2) auquel la trame de surveillance est destinée sont correctement reçues et au moins une information indiquant si les trames émises par le premier commutateur à un troisième commutateur (S12) relié au premier port (P1) du premier commutateur (S1) sont correctement reçues par le troisième commutateur (S12), - le premier commutateur (S1) transfère la première trame de surveillance générée, par l’intermédiaire du second port (P2) du premier commutateur (S1), au premier port (P1) du second commutateur (S2) relié au second port (P2) du premier commutateur (S1).
