Description
The present invention relates to a non-motorized device for collecting waste, and in particular plastic waste from rainwater. The objective is to obtain a salubrious effect from watercourses, thus avoiding the discharge of millions of tonnes of plastic waste into watercourses, water bodies, seas and oceans. This pollution causes harmful effects by affecting the surrounding fauna and flora, the habitat and at the same time humans. Tackling the sources of pollution by trapping waste upstream in rainwater networks would be the most effective way to reduce the problem of waste in the seas and oceans by 80%.
At present, we have not found any device resembling a non-motorized device for collecting waste according to the invention (called a Nasse Depollution Unit) in our competitive intelligence. However, certain practices are implemented to clean up the rainwater collectors, such as: selective grids on the manhole with a network sump treating only 50% of plastic waste and very often cluttered; humans, who collect waste through associations or events in a specific area, unfortunately limiting the depollution area; some countries, such as Australia, have created reusable nets placed in the tubing to prevent waste from flowing into bodies of water, however this technique causes risks of water overflow during rainfall, not to mention a concentration of men and material to clean the net.
The non-motorized device for capturing waste in a rainwater collection network (Fig.1 and 2) according to the invention makes it possible to remedy these drawbacks. It comprises in fact according to a first characteristic, the frame (Fig. 7) which is composed of two slides connected at its bottom accommodating the collector (Fig. 5) provided with a handle in order to take it out with the net alone and in all easy to empty waste.
Selon des modes particuliers de réalisation :According to particular embodiments:
The device includes a second characteristic in order to remedy the drawbacks. Fixing arms linking the fixing of the frame to the fixing of the ground called rocker (Fig. 6). These fixing arms are fitted with torsion springs and torsion blades which, in the event of flooding, allow the depollution unit to fall back to the ground (Fig. 8) in order to avoid any overflow of water or breakage of the net. In a particular embodiment, the rocker offering an inclination between 0 and 90° thanks to torsion springs allowing the system to fall back to the ground (Fig. 8) via the water current during heavy rains and to recover automatically at its initial location at the end of the bad weather.
To remedy the drawbacks presented above, the device offers a third feature: a cabled HD Polyethylene net tied with mesh but which can also be available in the form of steel mesh or ready-drilled steel sheet. The objective is to collect a large mass of plastic (or other) waste at the outlet of the stormwater channels. Waste is thus treated upstream of its journey.

De plus, cette partie peut être proposée sous quatre extensions (côté droit, côté gauche, côté bas et côté haut) appelé cadre collerette (Fig. 3 et 4) afin de s’adapter à l’environnement et positionner l’unité de dépollution NASSE (Fig 1 et 2) de façon à faciliter la maintenance et la collecte des déchets.1 st part: the frame (Fig. 7) made up of two slides connected at its bottom is which accommodates the collector (Fig. 5) equipped with a handle to facilitate the collection of waste. In addition, this part can be offered in four extensions (right side, left side, bottom side and top side) called flange frame (Fig. 3 and 4) in order to adapt to the environment and position the pollution control unit NASSE (Fig 1 and 2) to facilitate maintenance and waste collection.
The role of the frame and the collar frame is to be able to slide the collector easily to take out the net and empty the waste.
The collector (Fig. 5) is a sheet which can be of different sizes in order to adapt to the environment. It is crossed by a circle with a rim (in order to accommodate the net) in sheet metal, the diameter of which may vary according to the size of the sheet (Fig. 5).
Its role is to be crossed by rainwater and thus collect the waste thanks to the net fixed on the edge with the help of a clamp.
This rocker is fitted with a torsion spring or torsion blade which, in the event of flooding, allows the NASSE depollution unit to fall back to the ground thanks to the force of the water current (Fig. 8).
De plus il se plie au sol en cas de forte pluie pour éviter tout débordement (Fig. 8).Its role is to tilt the NASSE depollution unit (Fig. 8) to the ground during heavy rainfall in order to avoid any breakage of equipment or overflow of water.
