Abstract

L’invention concerne un dispositif (1) de type grill pour cuire/toaster un aliment, par exemple respectivement de la viande ou un sandwich, comprenant au moins une première partie inférieure (20) munie d’une première plaque chauffante (21) pourvue d’une surface de chauffage (22) et une seconde partie supérieure (20) munie d’une seconde plaque chauffante (21) pourvue d’une surface de chauffage (22), ladite seconde partie (20) étant articulée sur la première partie (20) autour d’une charnière (30) de sorte que la seconde plaque chauffante (21) puisse se rabattre sur la première plaque chauffante (21) afin de presser l’aliment entre les surfaces respectives de chauffage (22) se faisant face, une résistance de chauffage associée à au moins une des plaques chauffantes (21), caractérisé en ce que la charnière (30) comporte un axe de pivotement pourvu de moyens (50) de limitation par freinage de la rotation de la seconde partie (20) par rapport à la première partie (20).
