Hygienic device

The invention relates to a reusable cosmetic and/or hygienic device and to a method of manufacturing a reusable cosmetic and/or hygienic device.

The best-known cosmetic devices for cleansing and removing make-up are disposable cotton pads.

This type of device has the disadvantage of being disposable: it is not possible to wash them without significantly altering their physical properties. In addition, these types of products are very thin and do not allow a good grip or enough material for cleaning or removing make-up from the entire face.

The invention aims to produce a reusable cosmetic device, of sufficient volume for a good grip, while limiting the quantity of material used and a method of manufacturing such a device.

ABSTRACT

According to a first aspect, the invention relates to a reusable cosmetic device for removing make-up and/or cleaning, comprising two superimposed sheets bonded together along their outer face-to-outer face peripheral zone. The sheets are bonded to one another along their outer face-to-outer face peripheral zone. The periphery of each sheet is therefore at least partly folded over at its periphery. This connection between the outer face and the outer face and the folding of the periphery of each sheet allows an effect of increasing the natural volume of the device as well as a soft effect during its use. Preferably, the peripheral zone of each outer face is turned over to be able to be linked to the outer face of the other sheet.

In one embodiment, said peripheral zones are turned over so that the sheets are bonded together by the outer surfaces of at least part of their peripheral zone.

The connection of the two sheets by the outer surface of their peripheral zone advantageously makes it possible to create a slice of a certain thickness on the edge of the device and to provide a greater volume to the device without adding an additional sheet.

In one embodiment, the device comprises a handle, each longitudinal end of which is linked to the sheets at the connection between the peripheral zones of the two sheets at at least one attachment point.

This loop advantageously makes it possible to dry the device after use or after washing said device. In particular, this strap makes it possible to dry the device in a more hygienic way than traditional washable cottons that must be placed on a support to dry them.

In one embodiment, the handle is arranged to hug a slice of the device formed by the two sheets or by the connection between the peripheral zones of the two sheets.

In one embodiment, the distance, along the edge, between the two attachment points of the handle is substantially equal to the length of the handle.

Such an arrangement of the handle advantageously makes it possible to keep the handle placed against the edge of the device during use. The handle then does not bother the user by hanging on one side or the other of the leaves.

In one embodiment, the two sheets are linked together by a seam. In one embodiment, each leaflet has a disc shape.

In one embodiment, the outer surface of at least one sheet comprises an absorbent material, preferably a material that absorbs residue, dirt and dust. In one embodiment, the absorbent material comprises eucalyptus, cotton, polyester and/or bamboo.

According to a second aspect, the invention relates to a method for manufacturing a reusable cosmetic device, in particular for removing make-up or cleaning, such as for example a device according to the first aspect of the invention.

The manufacturing method includes a step of providing two sheets where each sheet comprises at least one face comprising an absorbent material. In one embodiment, the two leaflets comprise substantially identical geometry.

The manufacturing method comprises fixing the first sheet to the second sheet along a first portion of their periphery by their faces comprising the absorbent material, for example by sewing, a second portion of their periphery remaining free.

The manufacturing process comprises passing the first portion through the two sheets at the level of the second free portion of the periphery. The two sheets are then turned over and the inside face of the first sheet comes into contact with the inside face of the second sheet.

In one embodiment, the method then includes attaching the first leaflet to the second leaflet along the second portion of their periphery.

Such a manufacturing process advantageously allows obtaining a device of two superimposed sheets and bonding to each other by their outer surface. This connection advantageously allows the appearance of a slice on the edges of the device. In addition, the connection zone is thus found between the two sheets, reducing the risk of breakage and degradation during use of the device.

In one embodiment, when attaching the first sheet to the second sheet along a first portion of their periphery by their face comprising the absorbent material, the two longitudinal ends of a handle are inserted between the two sheets at the level of the first portion of their peripheral zone so as to be fixed between the two sheets during fixing.

In one embodiment, the peripheral distance between the two points where the handle is attached to the leaflets is substantially equal to the length of the handle.

According to a third aspect, the invention relates to a reusable cosmetic device, in particular for removing make-up or cleaning resulting from the manufacturing process according to the second aspect of the invention.

According to a fourth aspect, the invention relates to a kit comprising at least two devices according to the first aspect or according to the third aspect of the invention. The kit includes at least one device whose handle is of a different color than the at least one other device in the kit. This different color makes it possible to differentiate at least one device of the kit from the other devices, so as to lend it a specific use.

This kit advantageously makes it possible to include several devices while being able to recognize them from each other by the color of their handle, for example in the event of several users in the same place of life.

An example of a reusable cosmetic device 1 is described below with reference to Figures 1 to 4.

Device 1 is a reusable cosmetic and/or hygienic device. By reusable, it is meant that the device 1 is capable of withstanding several enemas, in particular with water, without undergoing significant degradation. The device can therefore be used and washed successively several times while retaining its properties.

The device 1 comprises two sheets 2. A sheet is a layer of material whose thickness is negligible compared to the diameter or compared to the length and the width. Preferably, each sheet 2 has a disc shape. The two sheets 2 preferably have the same dimensions and/or the same geometry or substantially the same dimensions and/or substantially the same geometry.

Each sheet 2 comprises two faces 21, 23.

The two sheets 2 are fixed to each other by their periphery or their peripheral zone 23. The peripheral zone 23 of the sheet is represented in FIG. 5 by a strip between the dotted line and the edge of the sheet. Thus, each sheet 2 comprises an inner face 22 facing the inner face 22 of the other sheet and an outer face 21 for removing make-up and/or cleaning. Preferably, the connection between the two sheets 2 comprises a seam 3.

The outer face 21 of each sheet 2 comprises an absorbent material, preferably a material that absorbs residue, dirt and dust. The absorbent material is selected in such a way that it can absorb residue and dust and can be washed, for example with soap and water, without being degraded. The absorbent material may include eucalyptus, cotton, polyester and/or bamboo.

As illustrated in Figure 4, the two sheets 2 are fixed to each other outer face 21 against outer face 21. The peripheral zone 23 of each sheet 2 is turned over or folded so that the outer faces 21 of each sheet 2 are in contact at their peripheral zone 23. The sheets 2 each have a 180° turn or a fold so that the outer surface of the peripheral zone of the sheet is in contact with one of the other.

This bend or fold advantageously makes it possible to create a slice 5. This bend advantageously makes it possible to space the two sheets 2 so as to create more volume with the same quantity of material and an airy or soft feeling when gripping and using the device 1.

As illustrated in Figures 1 to 4, the sheets 2 preferably have a disc shape but can have a square or ovoid shape without however departing from the scope of the present invention.

Preferably, the device 1 comprises a handle 4. The handle 4 extends longitudinally between two attachment points 41. The longitudinal ends of the handle 4 are fixed to the sheets 2 by the fixing between the peripheral zone of the first sheet and the zone device of the second sheet.

The handle 4 has a width less than or substantially equal to the height of the edge 5 formed by the sheets. The handle 4 comprises a negligible thickness compared to its width and its length.

The handle 4 is arranged to marry the edge 5 of the device 1 between the two attachment points 41 as illustrated in Figure 3. This arrangement makes it possible not to interfere with the use of the device. For example, if the handle 4 were looser, it could get in the way by being placed inadvertently in front of the central zone 26 of a sheet 2 during use. The handle 4 also makes it possible to dry the device, for example after washing or to store it on a wall hanger.

In one embodiment, the length of the handle and the distance along the edge 5 between the two attachment points are such that the handle 4 hugs the edge 5 between the two attachment points.

The length of the handle 4 is chosen in relation to the distance along the edge 5 between the two attachment points 41 so that the handle hugs the edge 5 between the two attachment points 41.

In one embodiment, the length of the handle 4 is substantially equal to the distance, along the edge 5, between the two attachment points 41. In practice, this length may be slightly greater than the distance, the along edge 5, between the two attachment points 41.

By "length of the handle 4" is meant the length of the handle 4 between the two attachment points 41.

By “distance along edge 5 between the two attachment points”, is meant the peripheral distance following edge 5 from one attachment point 41 to the other.

In one embodiment, the handle 4 can be made of an elastic material. In this case, the length of the handle 4 is less than the distance along the edge 5 between the two attachment points 41.

An embodiment of a method for manufacturing a reusable cosmetic device according to the invention is now described below with reference to Figures 5 and 6.

The method includes providing two sheets 2 as described above. The sheets 2 preferably have substantially identical dimensions and/or geometry. As explained, each sheet 2 comprises at least one outer face 21 comprising an absorbent material.

The two sheets 2 are superimposed on one another, outer face 21 against outer face 21, preferably flat. The sheets 2 are superimposed one on the other so as to make their peripheral zone 23 correspond.

The method then comprises a step of attaching the first sheet to the second sheet. The two sheets 2 are linked to each other, outer face against outer face.

FIG. 5 first illustrates a sheet seen from above and the peripheral zone 23 of said sheet, the first sheet is seen in transparency making it possible to represent the handle 4 arranged between the two sheets 2. The second sheet is below and not shown on this view.

The peripheral zone 23 is a band starting from the periphery of the sheet 2 and extending over a few millimeters or a few centimeters towards the central zone 26. The peripheral zone 23 comprises a first portion 24 (shown hatched in FIG. 6) and a second portion 25.

The two sheets 2 are fixed to each other only at the level of the first portion 24 of the peripheral zone 23. The second portion 25 of the peripheral zone remains free, that is to say that the sheets are not not fixed to each other at the level of the second portion 25.

In one embodiment, the first portion 24 comprises between 55% and 95% of the total periphery. The second portion 25 comprises between 5% and 45%. Preferably, the first portion 24 of the peripheral zone is continuous. Preferably, the peripheral zone 23 consists of the first and the second portion.

Preferably, the fixing is carried out by a seam 3 of the two sheets 2 along the first portion 24 of the peripheral zone 23. The fixing can also comprise gluing, welding or chemical fixing.

In a particular embodiment, during said attachment, each longitudinal end of the handle 4 is placed between the first two portions 24 of the peripheral zone 23 and is thus attached to the two sheets 2 during attachment or during sewing. . As seen above, the two attachment points 41 are arranged so that the handle 4 hugs the edge 5 of the device 1 at the end of the process. As shown in Figure 5,

As illustrated in FIG. 6, the method comprises passing the sheets 2 through the second peripheral portion 25. For example, the sheet 2 is taken by the first peripheral zone which is made to pass through the free space between the two sheets at the level of the second peripheral zone 25. The sheets 2 are thus turned over and the outer faces 21, hitherto face to face, are found opposite each other, except for the connection zone between the two sheets 2 forming slice 5.

The handle, hitherto between the two sheets is found, after this stage, outside the two sheets 2 and linked to the two attachment points 41.

In one embodiment, the two sheets 2 can then be fixed at the level of the second peripheral portion 25 so as to close and prevent the sheets 2 from turning over during use.

Claims (10)

Reusable cosmetic and/or hygienic device (1) for removing make-up or cleaning, comprising two sheets (2) superposed and linked together along their peripheral zone (23) outer face (21) against outer face (21). Device (1) according to Claim 1, characterized in that the peripheral zone (23) of each outer face (21) is turned over to be able to be bonded to the outer face (21) of the other sheet. Device (1) according to one of Claims 1 or 2, comprising a handle (4) each longitudinal end of which is linked to the sheets (2) at the level of the connection between the peripheral zones (23) of the two sheets (2) in at least one attachment point (41). Device (1) according to Claim 3, characterized in that the handle (4) is arranged to match a section (5) of the device (1) formed by the connection between the peripheral zones (23) of the two sheets (2). Device (1) according to Claim 4, characterized in that the distance along the edge (5) between the two attachment points (41) of the handle (4) is substantially equal to the length of the handle (4). Device (1) according to one of Claims 1 to 5, characterized in that the two sheets (2) are linked together by a seam (3). Device (1) according to one of Claims 1 to 6, characterized in that each sheet (2) has the shape of a disc. Device (1) according to one of Claims 1 to 7, characterized in that the outer face (21) of at least one sheet (2) comprises an absorbent material, preferably a material absorbing residues and dust, such as a material comprising eucalyptus, cotton, polyester and/or bamboo. Method for manufacturing a reusable device (1), in particular for removing make-up or cleaning, comprising the following steps:

• the provision of two leaflets (2), each having at least one side comprising an absorbent material;
• the fixing of the first sheet to the second sheet along a first portion (24) of their periphery (23) by their faces comprising the absorbent material (21), a second portion (25) of their periphery remaining free;
• the passage of the first portion (24) through the two sheets (2) at the level of the second portion (25) free from the periphery of the sheets.
