Emballage de type caisse américaine à fond automatique ou semi-automatique L'invention concerne un emballage (200) comprenant un élément de couvercle (211-214, 310-312) et un élément en matériau semi-rigide, comme le carton ou le carton ondulé, comprenant au moins trois parois (201-204) articulées les unes aux autres par des lignes de pliure (215-217) opposées entre elles, ces parois formant ceinture, et, pour chaque paroi parmi au moins trois de ces parois, un rabat inférieur (221-224) articulé à cette paroi par une ligne de pliure correspondante (271-274) dressée par rapport aux lignes de pliure articulant les parois entre elles, au moins un (221, 223) desdits rabats inférieurs définissant une ligne oblique (263, 264) par rapport à la ligne de pliure articulant ce rabat inférieur à la paroi attenante et s’étendant entre deux bords libres de ce rabat inférieur, de façon à définir un coin articulé, destiné à être solidarisé, par exemple par collage, à un autre rabat inférieur,caractérisé en ce queau moins un rabat inférieur (221, 223) définit une prédécoupe (263, 264) séparant ledit rabat inférieur en une première partie de rabat destinée à être directement solidarisée à un rabat adjacent (222, 224) audit rabat inférieur, et une deuxième partie de rabat destinée à être solidarisée à ce rabat adjacent via la première partie.
