Abstract

La présente invention concerne un procédé et dispositif de production de paraxylène en contre-courant simulé réactif dans lequel la séparation par adsorption en lit mobile simulé est couplée à la conversion de métaxylène et/ou de orthoxylène en paraxylène par l'ajout : d’un catalyseur hétérogène placé au sein de chaque lit d’adsorbant, ou dans des lits catalytiques intercalés entre 2 lits d’adsorbants, ou d'un catalyseur liquide ou soluble dans le milieu liquide constitué par les réactifs et les produits, injecté avec la charge, lequel procédé et dispositif étant tels que la température soit plus élevée entre l’injection de la charge, le prélèvement du raffinat et l’injection de désorbant que entre l’injection du désorbant, le prélèvement de l’extrait et l’injection de la charge.
