L'invention porte principalement sur une machine électrique tournante (10), notamment pour véhicule automobile, caractérisée en ce qu'elle comporte: - un rotor (12) comportant une pluralité de pôles magnétiques formés par des aimants permanents (15) en terres rares, ces aimants permanents (15) étant disposés à l'intérieur de cavités (17) fermées, et - un stator (11) comportant un corps muni d'encoches (22) et un bobinage (23) formé par des épingles insérées dans les encoches (22), ledit bobinage (23) étant du type quatre conducteurs par encoche.
