Abstract

Fibre optique à atténuation réduite contenant du chlore Une fibre optique dans laquelle l'augmentation d'atténuation peut être réduite est fournie. La fibre optique est constituée de verre de silice et inclut une âme et une gaine enfermant l'âme. L'indice de réfraction de la gaine est inférieur à celui de l'âme. L’âme inclut du chlore et un groupe de métal alcalin quelconque. La concentration en chlore est de 1 ppm ou supérieure dans toute la région de l'âme. Dans toute la région de l'âme, la valeur absolue du taux de modification radiale de la concentration en chlore est inférieure à 2000 ppm/μm.
