La présente invention concerne un siège de véhicule automobile comportant un soubassement (20) destiné à être amarré au plancher (P) dudit véhicule, un dossier monté articulé à pivotement sur ledit soubassement (20), et une assise supportée par ledit soubassement (20) ; caractérisé en ce que ladite assise comporte une armature (60) montée de manière amovible sur ledit soubassement (20) par l'intermédiaire de moyens de montage (64, 65, 66, 67).
