Abstract

Un véhicule comprend : - un siège associé à un volant (1) placé devant une planche de bord (2) et monté à rotation sur un axe de rotation transversal (5) d'une colonne de direction (6) afin d'être entraîné entre des positions de conduite et de sécurité dans lesquelles il est situé en partie et pas du tout dans une zone (7) située entre la planche de bord (2) et le siège, - des moyens de verrouillage passant d'un état verrouillé empêchant la rotation du volant (1) à un état déverrouillé autorisant cette rotation à réception d'une commande consécutive à un choc et/ou un freinage, et - un dispositif de protection (3) installé dans la planche de bord (2), derrière le volant (1), et comprenant un sac (4) gonflé par un déclencheur pyrotechnique à réception de cette commande pour se déployer vers le siège au travers de la zone (7).
