Field of invention

The present invention relates to a device for packaging and dispensing a cosmetic product.

The invention relates more particularly to a device comprising a container containing the product to be applied and a sieve through which the product contained in the container can be removed.

“Cosmetic product” means a product as defined in EC Regulation No. 1223/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council dated November 30, 2009, relating to cosmetic products.

It can be a makeup product for the skin, the lips, the eyelashes or the eyebrows, for example a foundation or a mascara.

PRIOR ART AND OBJECTIVES OF THE INVENTION

It is known to package certain cosmetic products in containers and to take the product through a sieve having one or more orifices. The sieve may or may not be a follower, that is to say to sink or not into the container as the product is dispensed.

Document FR 686 213 discloses an example of a device comprising a movable sieve, the applicator being constituted by a tassel which can be pressed against the sieve by the user to take the product. In general, this document indicates that it is possible to use metal, cardboard, various plastics, skin, balloon, rubber, fabrics, jersey, silk, metal fabrics, for the confection of the various parts of the device. An example proposes a sieve and a flexible joint constituted by separate parts, joined at their periphery, by a convex ring and rivets.

Document FR 3,047,881 discloses a device comprising a movable screen which can be produced by molding and / or by injection and / or by bi-injection. The sieve has a central part and a peripheral part made with materials of different hardness in polymeric material.

There is a need to further improve the packaging and application devices comprising a screen, in order to facilitate the loading of the application member with product, and to be able to take a powder or a pasty formula while guaranteeing a good rate. restitution, in particular by reducing the adhesion between the product and the central part of the sieve.

Definition of the invention

The invention achieves this objective by means of an X-axis packaging and application device, comprising:

- a container comprising a body,

- a sieve movable along the X axis relative to the body of the container, defining with the latter an interior space of variable volume containing the product to be sampled, a thrust exerted on the sieve accompanied by a reduction in the volume of the space interior and an outlet of the product through at least one opening of the screen, the screen having a central part and a peripheral part coming to bear against the body of the container, the central part comprises a metallic material and the peripheral part comprises a polymeric material .

Thanks to the invention, the particular choice of a metallic material to form the central part reduces the adhesion between the product and the sieve. The product remains slightly stuck to the sieve. It is better directed towards the orifices, for an increase in the rate of restitution.

In addition, the particular choice of a polymeric material for the peripheral part improves the contact between the container and the sieve to promote sealing, while benefiting from the advantages of the central metal part, such as the feeling of freshness in contact with the fingers. .

Furthermore, the device can remain relatively simple in construction, since the screen can be arranged to move axially in the body of the container as the product is emptied, the body of the container being able to be produced without a flexible deformable part.

Finally, the peripheral part and the central part being fixed to each other, no product is lodged between them, which further improves the rate of return of the product.

The packaging and application device 1 according to the invention shown in FIG. 1 comprises a container 10 containing a cosmetic product P on which a follower screen 17 is placed. The product P is for example a liquid, a gel or a powder .

The container 10 comprises a body 11 which is for example made in one piece of thermoplastic material with a bottom 14 and side walls 13. The container 10 can be arranged on a base 44 on which a cover 45 can be fixed to close the container 10 when not in use.

In the example illustrated, the applicator is not housed inside the device in the absence of use. In an alternative embodiment, the applicator is housed in the device in the absence of use, for example being received in the space 15 under the cover 45.

The container 10 comprises a screen 17 which can move axially along the longitudinal axis X of the container in the body 11 as the internal space 12 located under the screen 17, containing the product P, is emptied. 17 comprises a central part 31 which is traversed by orifices 33 and a peripheral part 32 provided with sealing means to prevent the product from rising between the periphery of the screen 17 and the body 11 of the container.
