L'axe (4) comporte un pas de vis interne qui permet de serrer le loquet (1) et les rondelles sur cet axe. Le pas de vis devra être réalisé sur plus de 1/3 de la longueur de l'axe, soit 50 mm afin que celui-ci ne disparaisse pas lors de la coupe à dimension de l'axe. Le poseur devra redimensionner le tube et l'axe aux dimensions réelles de la cloison concernée. La cloison sera percée à 100 mm du bord, côté ouverture de la porte afin de recevoir le tube fileté visible dans le dessin « VUE EN COUPE DU DESSUS ». Deux écrous (7) viendront serrer ce tube sur la cloison. L'écrou côté extérieur comportera une gorge permettant ensuite de recevoir la tête de l'axe (4) avec l'encoche pour un tournevis.When installing the device, the length of the shaft (4) and the threaded tube (6) must be adjustable.
